Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in another country?
Well, I have. And that's what this page is all about. Here, you can learn about life all over the world and what's happening there.
The exact number of countries in the world is unknown, with sources claiming anywhere from 168 to 254. Clearly, I could not list information on every single one. Therefore, I have chosen to have a country of the week. Each week, I will choose a country to highlight, both in class and on this site. The chosen country could be one from class... or one in which a note-worthy event is taking place... or simply one I think is interesting. Regardless of how it is chosen, a country will be highlighted from Sunday to Sunday each week. Check back to find out Miss Perkins' current Country of the Week.
Below, you will find a list of the seven continents of the world. Under each continent, you will find links for more information about life in those areas as well as what countries are located in each continent, keeping in mind that the exact number is unknown. If you are interested in others countries, don't hesitate to ask.
