Get Involved!
I am a strong believer that if you want to see change, you must create it. I will try to offer as many opportunities to get involved with your student, as well as provide learning opportunities for both you and the student through community service projects.
Support: As a role model for you student I need your support. Please visit our classroom whenever you are available. Showing the students that you are interested in their learning will make a difference.
Math Club: Currently I am going through the process to start a Math Club that will involve the students in fun math discussions as well as create fun environment by playing board games.
Tutoring: I think peer and supervised tutoring are great for the development of adolescents. If your child needs tutoring or if you would like your child to be a tutor, please contact me or your team teacher.
Community volunteer: Check out what is in your community, doing something simple like recycling can make a big difference. Don't be shy and don't fall victim of "I can't make a difference." Together we will make the world a better place. Check out our team's page on community projects.
